Paul's practice is varied within the field of personal and product liability and medical and professional negligence. Many of his cases involve head and other serious injuries and frequently attract damages of over £3 million.

Paul frequently lectures and writes on various aspects of medical law.  He is a Panel member of AVMA and a member of the Law Society Negligence Panel, ATLA, APIL, Fellow Society for Advanced Legal Studies, Clinical Disputes Forum Working Party on Expert Witnesses.

His publications include: "The Medical Accidents Handbook" published by Wiley 1998 and "International Product Liability" published by Campbell & Campbell.
